amin,
in the 'upload pictures' function, is there a way we can submit url's?

Jeffrey,
Unfortunately not. After seeing your post, I looked for vBulletin mods and add-ons that add this functionality and couldn't find any. If you have seen it on another forum, let me know so I can find out what they are using. It seems like we should be able to do it given that attachments for forum posts can use a url source.

Well, I've been uploading. Some of the "old-timers" will see that my daughter is growing up!
I've been adding pictures taken mostly with the pre-war Sonnars converted from Contax mount to LTM. These have become my favorites. It's all about the Bokeh. I will be posting threads on how to do these conversions.

It is very easy to upload pictures. I have managed to do it (and filled my allowable amount too) and if I can do it - anyone can!

...filled my allowable amount too...
That doesn't sound good, so I just increased the limit from 100 pictures to 500 pictures per member ;).
By the way, I chose the 1024 pixel and 500kb/picture limits to make it easy to bring photos over from other image galleries. For example, if you have a full-resolution, 15MB image on Flickr, all it takes to bring it here is to download the "Large" size version from Flickr and upload it here.

This is smomdukes I have created an album with a few of my photos. Please let me know what you think, and tell me how I can improve. I am open for suggestions since I am very new at this. These were taken using the Nikon. Thx

Okay- special request, a long shot.
I just won a Leotax with 5cm F1.5 Simlar. This is a fairly rare "Super-Speed" lens. My Christmas present to myself. It was "used Leica M8" or "Leotax S with 5cm F1.5 lens". Well! The M8 doesn't use film! easy choice, and the Leotax was a lot cheaper. But I came close to a used M8 at KEH. I've got to see if Cosina brings out a new Digital with the ZI name on it over the next year.
if anyone has the SIMLAR 5cm F1.5 lens, and has used it, Please Post Some Pictures!
Hope tp post some pix soon ... only just past my first 5 posts ... have been semi-speed-posting in order to up my posts so can share a photo-essay with you which I hope you will find interesting.
Cheers

Welcome Dunk! Sorry for the 5 post rule. I know it is inconvenient, but we were having a problem with spammers, and it seems to help.

Those images are beautiful. And with Vintage Glass.
Just heard about this forum from rff... Thought I'd check it out. I created a public album and posted some images from my Silver City Ghost Town series...
