This link shows my conversion of a Voigtlander Compur mount 50mm Septon to LTM: http://rcbooth.zenfolio.com/p106173371/h1c5b8023#h1c5b8023. It is rangefinder coupled. I was afraid that the deeply recessed rear element would lead to vignetting but test shots at wide open aperture didn't show any vignetting.

Wonderful!

Thankyou for the link. I normally start with an LTm focus mount and hack the optics module into place. I was thinking along these lines today for an SLR lens into M-Mount.

A real Inspiration!

Thanks, Brian. It needs a couple of little "nubs" on the aperture ring for ease of adjustment. It was relatively easy to do. I used an Industar 22 (I think) base as a starting point and then made an adapter to join it to the lens. I made and adapter that fits inside the original aperture adjustment ring that links the aperture and depth of field indicators. Lastly, the rangefinder coupling is simply a barrel that is stepped inside that is clamped to the back of the lens. The lens could be returned to its original condition if I wanted but it is a spare lens that had a problem with the mount. It is a great performer so I have no desire to undo it. Its big and fairly heavy.
