Porsche has always had top notch graphic design and photos for their cars. I have a factory calender from 1972 that shows some variety of the 911 RSR airborn at the Nurburgring. You can see daylight under all 4 wheels.

It seems that the recent paper promotional stuff has not been as elaborate as it once was, but the website is always evolving and is very artistic.

I was sort of wondering if anyone could tell what type of camera/lens was used in some of those photos...particulary the early ones??? Surely some of those very early ones were made with either Zeiss or Leitz stuff...

From what the Porsche oldtimer collectors told me back in Germany in the 1980's all of those pre 1959 factory promo photos and postcards were almost always taken with Leica's, IIIC/IIIF and M3's with a pallet of the good ole Leitz lenses ~ Stuttgart city was in it's own write a beautiful place to photograph, but add a whole bunch of 1950's Porsche's and it's a dream.....
