recently, i was going to pick this lens(Jupiter 8) for my Pentax SP Body
but the Seller said, "the infinity mode won't work on Nikon and Canon's Body"
so, i hung up my phone and start think more about this lens, "am i gonna pick this up? or not?"
so...
i wanna ask, Is it gonna work on my SP? have you ever tried it?
thanks before..

NO: the back focus is WAY off.

You want a Helios-44 in M42 mount for the SP.

http://cgi.ebay.com/HELIOS-44-2-lens-M42-Mamiya-Sekor-Pentax-Zenit-1571-/370369410718?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Camera_Lenses&hash=item563bbcb69e

Just a random example, EBAY search Term "Helios-44". They are good lenses, but not SONNAR formula. There was only 1 Sonnar formula normal lens, I think it was a 58mm, ever made in M42 mount, and it is very rare.
