Hello all...it is nice to find a group of Zeiss enthusiasts with their own online forum. My name is Jeff and I live outside Tulsa Oklahoma 40 married with two boys 11 and almost 7.

Recently I have aquired a few Carl Zeiss Jena microscopes from Ebay as I am an aquarium hobbyist and in the midst of putting together a nice scope I seem to have hooked myself up with a Contaflex Super system of sorts. I have never been into photography whatsoever before but I have wanted to have a nice film camera for a long time now mainly for family pics. I have been studying the net pretty hard concerning photography in general and Zeiss Ikon cameras and this is how I have come across you folks. I have browsed about the website here looked at some of your threads and checked out some of your pics and I am impressed with your dedication and enthusiasm and your talent. I hope to learn how to take good pics by going out and shooting the film (I have me a beginning stock of about two dozen rolls of film) I have been shooting a lot lately (Contarama on Flickr) and now I have joined your club to hopefully learn things from you all...

At any rate...there you go that is my first post...hope you all will reply...and stay tuned because I will post some pictures of my gear here real soon hopefully you will be impressed...

One thing we have a bunch of in Oklahoma is muscle cars. This is not my car but I have worked on it and I am around it all the time. I have a 70 Camaro but it is not ready for pictures yet...:)

Your's truly at the carlot with the 67 SS car...note the flags on the front fenders...when you see those flags on the fender like that...it is a big block car...:cool::cool:

Taken with the lowly Olympus P&S that needs to be converted to a trail cam to realize it's full potential...lol...sweet little camera and it does a lot of work and helps make a lot of moolah...

This is a local 34 Coupe that has quite a history behind it in these parts and others long ago I am sure...it is the epitome of a wicked all American ride...Harley Davidsons shiver when they get near this car...hahahha

And it runs a high SEVEN seconds in the QUARTER MILE...
