Welcome aboard. Beatiful Contaflex's. You are correct that a forum for Contaflex and Contarex SLR's has not been established, and I agree that it should.

Now I just have to figure out how.... So bear with me, I will read up on it.

I added a new forum for Contaflex and Contarex users, as the two SLR's were produced at the same time.

So.... Now I look forward to seeing the first thread in it with some pictures from your cameras!

I'm going to learn a little more on contina's and contessa's.

What would you think of a forum for Zeiss Fixed-Lens 35mm Cameras? That would cover RF and Scale-Focus cameras.

I have a Zeiss Box Camera- I'll stick to the "Other" for it!

Okay- I hope you are a collector with lots of Zeiss Cameras!

I added a forum in "Other" for fixed lens 35mm and 126 cameras. I remember that Zeiss picked up Voigtlander in the 60s, and added the Vitessa to their line-up. I have some of the original Vitessa's, from the 1950s. I have never used a 126 Vitessa, but some do.

I'll be looking for feedback on the forum line-up, Amin recently granted ADMIN privilige to me. The forum was originally founded for new-generation Zeiss cameras and lenses. We quickly picked up users of classic equipment, including myself.

Well , More of a G.A.S. person than collector , Have about four zeiss'es one Contaflex is a Tessar lens the Other is a Pantar lens but i also have RF zeiss with pantar lens also have the 35mm pantar and the 75mm pantar lens'es ,Will post foto's of when I dig them out: The contessa is a Tessar lens : have a Few 6x9 RF folders ,Have a contax 137md with the Vario 35-70mm F-3.4 macro lens , one of these days need to sit down foto all of them and log them,Etc,Etc: lazy in my old age: I also need to convert this Catalog in to A PDF so it can be post for reference use:

Sounds like a good start.

If you have some scanned pictures with the Contaflex, the gallery here allows 1MByte uploads with 1024 resolution.

I'd like to see some Contaflex shots on the site, it is a bargain for Zeiss quality cameras.

That's a nice one!

The later Contaflex cameras (like this one) have a reformulated Tessar on them that is reputed to be the best of the bunch.
