Hi Jarno,
interesting lens, a wartime T Sonnar, although the mount is a bit different that other 39mm from the same time seen elsewhere. Perhaps someone can explain the variations of this original mount.
The M5 was for the first time sold in Italy, as the label shows.
regards
Cla

according to serial I checked from here (http://www.daguerreotype.com/zeisslen.htm), its war-time. although am not an expert like Brian for example :)

didnt notice its Italian label, quite embarrassing... :p

These lenses can be a mystery, and I'm no expert- just have looked at several of them. were a lot of lenses with wartime SN's made in Russia, including the 1949 ZK sonnar that I have. It started out as a 272xxxx German lens! It's every bit as good as my wartime Sonnar. I have a 1953 J-3 with German glass that is sharper than the German 272xxxx lens. It's much more than 30LP/mm wide-open at F1.5, about as sharp as other Sonnars at F4!
