1953 Jupiter-3, EX cosmetics (see photo's, some marks in the finish), glass is near perfect. New front element from a 1982 new-old-stock module. This one turned out very nice. I took the focus mount apart, cleaned in an ultrasound cleaner, and relubed. It's very nice.

NOTE: I rebuilt this lens and repositioned the helical in the mount so that it would drive the RF to infinity on a Leica. The "little red index mark" for the F-Stop is now filled in with chrome, and the Line for Distance is used to set the aperture. If you are not familiar with the Jupiter-3, it is made to the Contax Standard as used by Russian cameras. There is a slight difference in focal length. I shimmed this lens and reset the helical so optimize it for up-close and wide-open work. Best to stop down to F2.8 for infinity.
