I've taken the left-over parts from my CZJ Sonnar conversion and made some J-3's for the Contax and Nikon out of them.
(SOLD)1958 J-3. Shimmed for the Nikon RF. This J-3 has the front element from a 1974 J-3 on it, to replace the original. The combination produced a softer focus with a "nicer" (you be the judge) Bokeh. I collimated it for the Nikon to offer a portrait lens. Cleaning marks on the front element, nothing to produce any effect on the photo's. This is a good J-3, set in an original Contax mount and shimmed for the Nikon RF.

Wide-Open with this lens:

This is what I mean about the Bokeh:

It is much smoother than a Nikkor 5cm F1.4 or a "typical J-3". Add a nice portrait lens to your Nikon RF for cheap.
(SOLD) 1956 J-3. Shimmed for the Contax RF. I collimated this one for the Contax. Some marks on the front element, nothing that will affect images. This is a good J-3, set in an original Contax mount and shimmed for the Contax. Rotated the aperture ring to line up, and used a sharpie to add the index mark. I took out all the glass, cleaned the surfaces, and reseated them. When I first received it, the first triplet was off.
