At last! :) It brings a smile to your face, to have an ultra fast lens that works well not only wide open but also through the mid aperture range too making it truly usable.
Can't wait!

Sounds like you have a nice lens there. Im looking forward to seeing some of the images you create with your new glass.

I want one; I guess I have to settle for my Rokkor 58/1.2 and Canon FL 58/1.2 for now!

My fastest Leica mount is the Canon 50/1.2. I also want one of these 50/1/1's. Not so much the speed gain, but it is much sharper. I also have the Canon 50/0.95 for my Canon 7.

Glad to see the guys with no money are still being considered.

I was going to make a remark about the Canon 50mm f/.95,but Brian beat me to it!That was reputed to be quite a performer.I'm only guessing, but I bet the Nokton is tuff!

Attached are a couple of pictures I took week or so ago looking roughly East from 30th Street Station in Philly toward downtown. Shot wide-open. I don't remember shutter speed. Film was Ilford SuperXP2 400. PP'g in Aperture included "red filter" plus auto-enhance.
this lens is a "keeper."
