I just have too many lenses. Including some that I modified for the Nikon RF.

1) Helios-103, 1982. EX+ condition. The 81 and 82 Helios-103 have a secondary shim for the rear optics group. I moved the rear optics in on this one to shorten the focal length. It works great for the Nikon RF through the focus range. I also used a permanent marker to blacken the aperture blades. Cut down on flare. I've used this lens on my S2 and S3. $45 including shipment in the US, $50 overseas via International First Class mail. Metal front cap and homemade rear cap included.

This lens on the Nikon S2, C41 B&W, hand-held, wide-open at F1.8.

2) Industar 61L/D, EX+ condition. Tessar formula lenses are hard to come by in Nikon RF mount. I made one. It uses a J-8 mount, and is epoxied into place. Focus is good, hitting an F2.8 lens spot-on is not as hard as an F1.5 lens. NOTE: there is a small gap between the aperture ring and the J-8 mount. The mechanism internally is sealed, and it has not been a problem. It works great for the Nikon RF through the focus range. This is a sharp and contrasty lens. It was never made in Contax/Kiev mount.

$25 including shipment in the US, $30 overseas via International First Class mail. No front cap, homemade rear cap. Front will be protected during shipment.

3) Carl Zeiss Opton 50mm F1.5 lens, shimmed for the Nikon RF. This lens has some marks in the coating, and some slight haze in the balsam. See Photo's. It is a User-Condition lens. I bought it, and had to fight some corrosion to open it up and clean it out. Most of it cleaned up, and it delivers some good photo's on my Nikon S3 and S2. Optimized for close-up and wide-open. Russian front cap included, rear will be protected.

Note the photo of the haze, I used a Maglight to illuminate it. The TTL shot is by holding the lens up to my Nikon DSLR with its 60/2.8 Micro-Nikkor.

$105 shipped within the US, $110 shipped via International First Class Mail.

4) EX condition 1963 J-3. Shimmed for the Nikon RF. A few very slight cleaning marks on the front element, nothing to produce any effect on the photo's. This is a good J-3, in original Contax/Kiev mount and shimmed for the Nikon RF.

$95 shipped in the US, $100 shipped via International First Class Mail. Front cap included, rear will be protected. Will add photo's.

Brain, I don't have a Nikon but do have a Contax IIa and a nice Kiev 2 (1952), how would these lenses focus on the Contax/Kiev mounts?

I've set these to focus on the Nikon. They would be off on a Contax.

I could shim the Zeiss Opton to be accurate on the Contax, and that is what the lens was made for originally. If you are interested in it, let me know and I will reset it.

The Helios-103 and I-61 are now "Nikon Lenses". They went beyond just shimming. If you have an I61 in LTM, I can make it into a Contax mount lens. I have a spare collapsible mount from a Sonnar conversion. On the J-3: I will be offering some shimmed for the Contax.

Raid, these lenses are such a bargain that you should find an old Nikon S just for them! I have one of Brian's Menopta 50's lenses and it is as good as my Nikkor f2's and will give some of my 50f1,4's a run for the money!!

Brain,

I do have any extra I61 that I might send you to make into a Contax lens. Send me a PM on what you would need and costs.

After my last few weeks of purchases I'm on a budget, so we well see.

I've made two I-61's in Collapsible Mount for the Contax.

I have a collapsible mount left over from the Sonnar conversion, so it would look like this one.

Interesting. "send Private Message" isn't an option in the pull down menu.

Maybe you can contact me?

Sorry all, I've restricted the ability to send PMs to those with 5 or more posts in order to discourage spambots from PMing our members. This has happened in the past.
