This is a User-Condition Canon IVSB with a very nice 1955 J-8. No caps. I'll find an old filter to protect it during shipping. I cleaned and calibrated the viewfinder, some deteriation of the prism, but it is a bright and very usable RF image. I have no problem with any of the finder magnifications. Curtains are light-tight. Pitting in the chrome touched up with silver marker, as shown in puctures. The slow-speeds were not working when I got it: flood cleaning the mechanism helped, as did dry-firing the mechanism before loading. I let it sit for a couple of months, and had to dry-fire the slow speeds before use. High-end speeds are all working, no capping issues at 1/1000th with the two rolls shot through it.

Price is $110, inclusive of shipping within the US. Out of the US, price is $100 Plus shipping Cost. Figure a 4 pound package, with shipping of your choice. Paypal, check, or money order. I reserve the right to hold the item until payment clears.

Test roll taken with this camera and lens.

These are at F2, and 1/1000th. Full-frame and tight crop.

This is at F4.

The Jupiter-8 lens is set for the Leica standard, and the Canon body works well with my other lenses. Priced as a good starter outfit for someone you know, or as a back-up/ kick-around camera.

Giving this a Bump with a lower price. If you are interested in a cheap LTM film camera with lens, this is fairly hard to beat. I repaired a Canon 7 today, so this Canon IVSB is needing a new home.

Brain,

Got the camera, lens, filter today. It is as you described. Raining today but tomorrow I might have a chance to run a roll through with the Helios 103 LTM.

I developed a couple of rolls of BW today since I couldn't go outside that I took with the Helios using a Bessa and a Russian Fed 2.

Both rolls look very sharp, I will scan some and post when they get dried.

Thanks

Leo

Hi Leo,
I sent you an email a couple of days ago regarding the Canon 7.
Could you respond? [edit: wrong person!]

Hi Raid,

I'm sorry I am not the same Leo.

I am most active on RRF and in the thread on XX 5222 film.

I only seem to have a little time to read and even less to respond, I wish I could find more time but....I have read your comments on RRF and Nelson and am watching your lovely daughters grow up.

I hope you find the Leo you are looking for.
