This is my first post here but I have thousands of posts and great feedback on Fredmiranda.com (user name is petermendelson) and ebay (username is petermax123).
Up for sale are my Zeiss 50mm f/2 makro ZF and my Voigtlander 180mm f/4 with the optional round hood. I am selling them to finance a Nikon PC-E lens.
I bought the 50ZF from John Schwarz (he also reviewed this same copy of this lens on his website at http://www.pebbleplace.com/Personal/Zeiss_ZF_50mm_Macro.html, where you can see pics of the lens, etc. It comes with the box and all papers and is mint.
I bought the Voigtlander 180 and the hood from Cameraquest. The review of this lens on photozone.de stated:
"The Voigtlander SL 180mm f/4 APO Lanthar is one of the forgotten marvels - a fate that it shares with the rest of the SL series. Optically it is a very good performer without any major weaknesses - it is very sharp, shows very little vignetting and distortions, and CAs and purple fringing are basically non-issues. The build quality is excellent. If I had to name a characteristic where it really shines beyond the mainstream it is the bokeh (out-of-focus blur) - this lens is one of those few cream machines (similar to its SL 125mm f/2.5 APO cousin)."
Photos of the Voigtlander can be found at http://petermendelson.zenfolio.com/p919294954/. I am selling the lens and hood for $490 shipped to the CONUS, including any paypal fees (Cameraquest is selling the lens and hood for $594 plus shipping).
I don't have photos right now of the 50ZF although photos of this same copy of the lens are posted on the pebbleplace review site. I can post photos when I get back home Sunday evening. The price for the 50ZF is $850 including Priority Mail shipping to the U.S. and any Paypal fees.
If you buy both I will take another $50 off for a total of $1290.
The best way to reach me is by email at petermaxmendelson at mac.com since I will be away this weekend but can get emails on my iPhone.
Thanks,
Peter
