equals photos soon!!

i borrowed a m to g1 adapter for a few days and this saturday i plan to head out to my favourite farmer's market and give that magnified manual focussing a try.
the g1 is fast turning into my favourite camera and i love the 14-45 kit lens but it feels wonderful with the added weight of a zeiss lens on it.
so far i have just been playing around the shack with it.

photos soon!!

SuhhhhhWeeeet! 70mm equivalent ... I love wides, and I love my Zuiko 100/2.8, but I have to admit that 65-70mm would often be very useful. Just look at that bokeh. :D

hey earl! you're getting out more i see;)

yeah, around 75-85 has been a favourite focal length for me in the past and maybe again now.

joe ... yeah, a bit. Truth be told, I have another forum (not photo-related) that I have spent some time on. I hope to get back in the swing of things photo-wise in a few weeks. Right now I have some major chores at home to do, plus I do not maneuver well in snow/on ice, so getting out for snaps is a challenge.

I also have gone through a bit of a mental slump over the last few months -- nothing really bad, just not feeling motivated. OK, I confess ... the loss of Mats Sundin from the Leafs, much less his joining the Canucks has really gotten to me!

Joe, it is unfair with all that sunshine! Vancouver has been stuck in a cold, wet fog for the last couple of weeks - I have sufficient "fog" pictures to see me through a decade or two!!
Earl, yeh - blame it on Mats!!!! I know what you mean by navigating in snow and ice. Not fun at all - not even a cane helps as that will start sliding and I follow, flailing arms and legs.

sunshine is now gone again.
very windy, high wind chill temps (or is that really low?) and flurries...

stephen's adapter is in the mail to me and i look forward to comparing it to my soon to be returned to it's rightful owner novaflex adapter.

What is sunshine?, in the Pacific Northwest in the last month we had 15 days of below freezing temperatures, 15 days of snow, 15 days of flooding and now 15 days of fog, and that is just in the last 30 days.

Enough pictures of cold, snow, floods and fog have been taken. I can't wait until spring. I waited all day for the fog to lift today to take some pictures, I loaded my Contax IIa with my 50 1.5 Sonnar with Plus X 5231 and the fog started to lift at 3:15, but as I got ready to leave it was socked in again at 3:30, 15 minutes of slight clearing.

Maybe tomorrow, or maybe just some more fog pictures.

Back Alley, I am interested in your findings, with the adapters. The G1 is a tempting camera especially with the ability to use lenses from other systems, which I have to many of.

Keep us posted.

Have a Lumix G1 and now a Novoflex MFT/LEM adaptor, awaiting delivery of a Biogon 35mm f2 (70mm equivalent on the G1).

Trying to be patient.
