Some of mine, in no particular order:
Take more photos of life in downtown Baltimore and Ellicott City, MD, to document this period of time
Try my hand at some wildlife photography at the local lake
Work on making these forums a success
Spend more time and money on photobooks
Spend less money on gear
Anyone have photography-related New Year's resolutions?

Yes- slow down on buying new gear. (I'll just buy old stuff needing repair)
Read More, and not just about camera gear...
SETUP MY DARKROOM- or at least just mix the chemicals and start doing B&W negatives again.

Clean my Darkroom!
Shoot more and source some more Nikon reloadable cassettes (only have 30 at the moment)
Continue the experiments with Kodak's XX film and stock up on another 6000 ft of it.
Build a LED lightsource for my high resolution Focomat IIc as the current source has a dead controller!
Clean the office next to the darkroom (and move the other Focomat IIc into the darkroom!
Get back to printing more.
Finish the selection of the pictures for a "blurb" book that a friend and I are planning. Working title "10 000 cups" as that is the amount of coffee we have drunk over the last 21 years. So, we might have to change the title to "11 000 cups" as we are both great procrastinators!
Did I say "shoot more film"?

since i'll be moving to shanghai i'd like to come up with a project to keep me focused. i've got a project in mind and this may finally be the time to do it.
gearwise i'll probably sell off a few of my lenses and get a G1 before the move...maybe learn how to develop my own B&W, perhaps even buy a scanner.

Don't buy any more gear unless it's a replacement for something broken or something I absolutey need!
Get more paid photographic work.
Think seriously about an enlarger.
Shoot more MF
Put together a portfolio.
Work towards a small exhibition.

I'm going to concentrate more on quality rather than quantity, both in the darkroom and when I'm taking photographs.

I just joined today, so resolutions:
-Sell more lenses and cameras than I buy
-Keep only the gear I use or find interesting enough to collect
-Develop a flow from shooting - developing - to Storing -to Printing - exhibiting photos
-Concentrate on a couple of BW films, XX 5222 being one -The other ???
-Clean my darkroom (I still develop BW but scan the negs and print at a computer
Oh well if I list more then there will be a greater chance of failing...
Good to be here

leo, what is it with us photographers. We clean our cameras, our lenses etc - and usually the darkroom is an unholy mess. My rational is that if the dust and filmchips are on the floor - dusting just stirs it up and makes it land on the enlargers condensors. This excuse has lasted me a long time - as well as the picture of Eugeen Smith in his darkroom in Bill Pierce's Leica book!!!
For a 2nd film to play with - I found the X5321 quite interesting last summer. Really nice tonality and once the sun makes it's appearance here in the North West - I will try some more of it.

Tom,
Interesting you should mention 5231, I just got 400 feet and have just shot a few rolls. I shot the film at 250 and developed in Diafine.
The negs look really nice, I haven't scanned any though. Another of my resolutions is to get past this level of taking pictures and actually producing more.
I'm away from home but I will scan the 5231 negs that I exposed at 250 so others can judge this technique.
